General

By renting a vehicle from Ace Car Rental, the Renter agrees to comply with all Terms & Conditions mentioned below. Ace Car Rental reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking without explanation if necessary. The Renter shall be fully responsible for the vehicle from the moment it is handed over until it is returned and inspected by Ace Car Rental.

Eligibility & Documents

The Renter must be 22 years of age or above and must provide a valid Driving Licence (Indian or International) along with an Aadhaar Card or any valid government ID proof.

The person collecting the vehicle must be the same person whose documents were submitted. Use of another person's documents is strictly prohibited.

Vehicle Inspection Before Departure

The Renter must make a complete 360° video recording of the vehicle before departure to protect both parties from future misunderstandings regarding scratches, dents, or damages.

Any existing scratches, dents, or damages must be informed and acknowledged before leaving with the vehicle.

Vehicle Condition & Cleanliness

Vehicles are provided in clean condition and must be returned in the same manner. Excessively dirty vehicles may attract cleaning charges.

Maintaining cleanliness helps both parties properly identify any fresh scratches or damages and avoid disputes.

Fuel Policy

Fuel expenses are entirely the responsibility of the Renter. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at the time of pickup.

If returned with less fuel, refuelling charges will be applied based on the current market rate.

Damage, Accident & Liability

The Renter shall be fully responsible for any accident, damage, theft, loss, or misuse occurring while the vehicle is under their custody.

• Full repair cost.
• Any unpaid or outstanding rental amount.
• Garage holding charges for the total number of days the vehicle remains under repair and unavailable for business.
• Traffic fines, challans, penalties, or legal violations during the rental period shall be borne entirely by the Renter.

The Renter must immediately inform Ace Car Rental in case of any accident or major issue.

Vehicle Usage Restrictions

The vehicle must not be used:

• For illegal activities.
• Under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• For racing, towing, or reckless driving.
• By any unauthorized driver.
• Smoking or carrying hazardous materials inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Company Rights

Ace Car Rental reserves the right to repossess the vehicle without notice if any Terms & Conditions are violated.

Ace Car Rental may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time when required.

Late Return

A late fine is applicable for delayed vehicle returns. The source material states a late fine of ₹150 per hour, with a full-day charge applicable after 6 hours.

Please confirm the applicable vehicle-specific late fee before publishing, as the rate-card notes indicate that late fees may vary between ₹150/hour and ₹200/hour depending on the vehicle tier.

Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall fall under the jurisdiction of Nagaland courts only.
